Glad to see there back to crap and playing sub par hockey. Great timing in the season to lay down. Something is just not right. I know for one thing it isnt Rask the kid is trying to carry the team.

I agree it is tough to watch as of late but does it really matter? They have shown, in spurts, what they are capable of and I would rather see them peak at the right time- in the playoffs. I still think they are a Cup-Capable group, even if they draw Montreal. :soon:

I wanna believe they can and on paper looks like they can. I dont see it happening they will be lucky to make the play offs at this pace.

To witness a pounding like that is truly enjoyable for me. Especially after five decades of domination at the hands of the Habs. This was an utter, complete, decisive beatdown. 7-0. Never seen a Canadien team that couldn't mount a comeback, at all.... The only battle they won were a couple of faceoffs.

Nice win last night over the number one team in the eastern confrence.

Great game, although it could have easily gone Philly's way had Thomas not played outstanding (again). The bright spot was definitely the powerplay last night. Hopefully it continues to be better than it was during that awful stretch of losses a couple weeks ago.

We are in the playoffs and if I was the coach i would call in the P-Bruins to finish off the season and take the entire Boston Bruins to the practice rink until the first game, heal up those bruises and work on those skills. They should practice every day and not play.

IMO that is what is going on with Ovi and Crosby and others. I bet both of them could be playing now but the teams are saving them for the games that count.

Their issue is effort, not skill. The Montreal game showed what happens when they decide to show up. Then, the next game the effort is gone - slow getting to pucks, lackluster hits. It's like they're rock solid for a game then shaky for 2-3 games.

I agree to a point and think we will see some "resting" down the stretch but at the same time, they have to stay sharp. Sitting everyone down could hurt if they lose the positive vibe they have going as a team right now. Cut down the minutes for Chara, give Ryder a chance to redeem himself, a few adjustments but not an all-out change. I have been impressed by the penalty kill the last several games, seems they are getting short-handed scoring opportunities quite a bit, hope they keep that trend as well....
