I'm re-building my drying wheel enclosed so I can add heat throughout the entire process. For you guys that modified your rotisserie motors to accept threaded rods...How did you do that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I used the rod that came with the rotisserie, but I didn't use wood wheels. Mine is made with a PVC frame. I can't upload the photo, it was already uploaded. Search "wet on dryer" theres pictures of the way I did it in there.

I turned down one end of the square rod on the lathe.. then added a flex coupler to my counter shafts...

I just used the whole rotisserie out of the box took some alligator clips and JB weld.Pics are easier unless you want to do a bunch of plugs at once I find 2-4 at a time is enough to handle and this works fine for me everyone has different needs so what works for me may not for you this is good also because it is adjustable for different lengths w/o playing w/ springs and S-hooks etc I just use through wire and if you want a little security in case you think they will fall off use the little spring clamps over the alligator clips.
