View Full Version : Sox Are Lookin' Good! BigFish 04-03-2011, 05:11 PM :hidin: striperman36 04-03-2011, 05:13 PM I thought you were banned from this site And don't you have tickets for the Charlie Sheen show? JohnR 04-03-2011, 05:22 PM Off to a poor start for free furniture... striperman36 04-03-2011, 05:29 PM Maybe Bob's Furniture should start a SOX lose you win campaign ProfessorM 04-03-2011, 07:17 PM ran into a buzz saw. Better now than at end of season. Get it out of their system early , I hope. keeperreaper 04-06-2011, 06:04 AM Way too early to push the panic button. SurfCaster413 04-06-2011, 06:11 AM Gotta love the Boston sports fans few more games they will be calling for tito to get fired or trade so and so. I can't watch baseball yet not with hockey still going on. afterhours 04-06-2011, 06:11 AM so they get 4 out their 68 loses over with now :) Raider Ronnie 04-06-2011, 06:22 AM Maybe Bob's Furniture should start a SOX lose you win campaign That friggin Bob does enough annoying commercials as it is ! The Dad Fisherman 04-06-2011, 06:50 AM Its up to Dice-K to stop the skid vineyardblues 04-06-2011, 11:59 AM Can't wait for the bats to wake Up ......... BigFish 04-06-2011, 05:21 PM Problem isn't as much the bats as it is the generosity of the pitching staff!!!!:wall: striperman36 04-06-2011, 06:07 PM I am gonna watch Charlie Sheen on PPV instead tonight. He's rockin!! The Dad Fisherman 04-07-2011, 05:01 AM Typical Dice-K outing....he's at least consistent. maybe one of these days he'll go 7 fishbones 04-07-2011, 01:50 PM Wow, dropped another one today. They get a great effort form Lester, and they can't even score a run. On pace for a 0-162 season. FishermanTim 04-07-2011, 02:50 PM Another sign of the Sox demise: Lottery starts new $2 lottery scratch ticket game that has a "triple chance" drawing. You enter with losing $2, $5 & $10 redsox scratch tickets, and WHEN they win a game they have a drawing from each category. If you win the $2 ticket drawing, you get some $$ If you win the $5 drawing, you get more $$. If you win the $10 drawing, you get a little more $$. If you win the $2 & $5 draw, the $2 & $10, the $5 & $10 you get inceasingly larger payouts. If you are miraculously lucky enough to win all three drawings you win $1,000,000.00 Unless you are a chronic scrath-a-holic or you sell tickets, there's very little chance you will win one red cent! :wall: Of course, this all hinges on the sox winning the game.:biglaugh: The Dad Fisherman 04-08-2011, 05:03 AM Swept by Cleveland....:wall: blondterror 04-08-2011, 05:32 AM Can they break the slide and beat the yankees today in fenway... I sure hope sooo BigFish 04-08-2011, 07:56 AM Bring back Willie Mo Pena......he would be a perfect fit on this team! :uhuh: JohnR 04-09-2011, 06:29 AM Thank god they won one. blondterror 04-09-2011, 06:53 AM It actually was a great game to watch... the bullpen was outstanding.. lights out by Pap in the 9th... fishbones 04-23-2011, 02:26 PM Kind of quiet in here? Where's all the Sox bashers now? BigFish 04-23-2011, 02:29 PM I am right here! I still think they suck! They just do not have it! fishbones 04-23-2011, 02:43 PM Hi Larry. They're looking much better the last week and a half or so. Won 6 out of the last 7 and the starting pitching has been excellent during that stretch. They still need Crawford and Youk to start hitting and the middle relief has to step it up, but they are pitching and hitting much better now. BigFish 04-23-2011, 03:55 PM One BIG problem they have is Crawford and the BIG DOLLAR $$$$ multi-year deal they signed him to! He is not going to put up the numbers they hope he will! They have a habit of signing players off their "career" year for multi-year contracts (Can you say JD Drew?....thank GAWD that contract is almost up!!!:smash:) was it 16 mil a season for 7 seasons they signed Drew for??? And he did ZERO!!! He has been an albatross around their neck and un-tradeable! So now they have JD "WHO?" and Crawford dragging down the offense!! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
