Great boat! I know a guy who has a '03 26 with twin Evinrude 200s. Twin 200 HPDIs should be a nice package.

I'd look into the power more than the boat.

Some gurus say the HDPIs are not that great compared to the yami 4-strokes.

Keep researching....Good Luck.........

Stay away from 7 year old 200 HPDI's....or allow at least $2000 per engine to have the high pressure pump and injector filters cleaned before you use the boat. They are going to clog and soon unless the previous owner has already had issues and paid to have this done. I am not talking about the standard on engine recommended filter changes.
They need to pull the injectors and high pressure pump off the engine (sometimes the injectors don't come out undamaged and you'll need new ones) and send them to Fla to be serviced.

what boat isn't?
Like NS said, just plan for it. It is a very nice boat, and with 7 y/o engines, no-matter what brand, it is some what of a crap shoot, unless you are personally familiar with the owner and the history...

I just had my 2003 HDPI serviced, new water pump, clean the VST system and injectors, new T stats, lower gear lube, new plugs, new filters all of them, new filter in boat also, new ball pump, clean andcheck oil injection and clear compute stuff, 650 hours $1398.00 out the door.
Great motor!! IMO

Good Luck!

here's are specs for a heavy 24fter that has twin 200 hpdi's, fuel costs are always the killer.
