Anyone know the tap size for the threads on a green 704 handle. i have one that is bunged up at the beginning of the threads, want to clear them for use on a reel....

If you can't find it locally you can bring it up here near Milford and I have thread gauges which will tell you the thread. Should have the tap here too.

I found a 1/4 X 28 works fine.
