Bad news. I knew a guy who used to dive off there. he said the currents were very starnge in that in addition to side to side like we see from shore , the currents there down deep ran up and down. he used to use a wet suit most places but used a dry suit there so that he could have control of his boyancy just by using the buttons on his suit rather than the BC vest alone.

Anyway , in a place like that with sttange current and all manner of wildlife , it could be easy to get in trouble.

Lets hope he just got sewpped out but did surface and in his wetsuit he stays warm enough to be found.

I cannot imagine diving there. It's a scary place.

Any place with that much abundance of sea life and depth change is going to attract apex predators. Not matter of if but when...
