These are the best boots I have fould with calks. Each boot has 30 calks. Just ask them to remove calks when ordering, you must grease each calk if you want to replace them at some point. order one size larger. These are close outs due to problems with the lining, can't beat the price.

Phreddy - welcome aboard!

Do you use these? I have some concerns that more logging boots will last more than wading boots (though they might be better ;) ). Interesting link.

Reminds me though that I need to tweak my weabars today. If yuou are considering alternatives - this one is pretty popular: http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripertalk/stripertalk/63665-alternative-korkers.html

I love the LLbean studded boots! Only thing they are not good for is bubble weed. I haven't rocked the korkers for years!

Or you can add these to what ever shoes work for you.

If your a wet suiter, try adding these to a pair of light weight hiking shoes and wearing them over 3mm wet suit booties. Nice and light. Not sure how the salt would treat the logging boots.

The korker boots I've been wearing for a couple years still have a little life left in them.Just went on their site and they discontinued most models.New designs and more $$.I may go the wearbars route next time. The threaded studs in mine come out from time to time. The threads rust out and the hole needs to be tapped.Too much work for my fishing boots.

They are discussed here http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripertalk/stripertalk/71005-manly-stud-guys.html

With more use they've not held as well as I initially thought in soft Muck boots, but I'll bet they are great in harder rubber.
