View Full Version : For Bill n Jules benefit SB site auction
UserRemoved1 06-04-2011, 06:23 PM Not cleared with John but I don't think he'll have a problem with this.
****Site auction for their benefit, I will put up a $100 Salty's gift certificate (no expiration date) to be given to the highest bidder to be spent on whatever you'd like with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Bill n Jules****
I know with Bill in the hospital they're not chartering so there's no income for them right now....Monthly bills etc never stop...And they both have always been very good to me all these years....and many more on this site and MSBA etc.
Let's keep this open til next Saturday night at 6pm. Please bid high for their benefit. I know the economy sucks right now and nobody is spending money. Maybe pool with a buddy then and bid....Would be nice to help them out and give something back...
Tnx in advance.

JohnR 06-11-2011, 05:26 PM OK - I won ;)
Now if TTB & Booger dare, I will let anyone that wants to match the $120 get the needles and gift certificate those will have essentially doubled the money raised.
So if you match the $120 of my bid, you'll get the stuff & we'll have raised $240

Jules you guys are in my prayers
UserRemoved 06-18-2011, 04:38 AM We raised $270 for them. Good start. Glad to see more people stepping up! All the best to you guys Jules.
rphud 06-21-2011, 08:56 PM I think you are right Bob. I am going to keep one of the needles and am now putting the other two up to "auction" to raise some more. One blue to pearl to white and one purple to slight yellow to white. Both are 7.5" RM Smith needles. No deadline on these yet. Just going to let it roll until it seems right to end it, but probably keep it to about a week or so. Bid on one or both. Your preference, but I will be trying to maximize the return for a great cause here. Start now. Thanks in advance.
UserRemoved1 06-22-2011, 04:04 AM most excellent tnx again for the help you guys!

Nice :btu: - methinks you may want to start a new thread ;) ?
Methinks I should read the rest of the threads first AND complete coffee before posting :smash:
