Hi All well the battle continues for Bill, yesterday they had him only lightly sedated on the breathing machine so it was nice to see his eyes open and know that I was there, I took his father in to see him yesterday so at least he got to talk to Bill, as the last time i had him over Bill was on the breathing machine then as well and not awake.
They told us yesterday that things are still very critical and can go either way. He ended up getting pneumonia the other day because of fluid buildup in his lungs plus from laying so long. They are trying to get rid of that with antibiotic. His kidneys they say are not working and by his vitals they do not think his kidneys will ever work again so he may be looking at permanent dialysis for that.
I am hoping that today they can get him off of the breathing machine. the longer he is on it the more damage that can happen to his throat and I pray to god he does not have to have a treachiotomy. I spoke to his surgeon yesterday, he says he has a very long way to go, he is still very sick and he will be surprised if Bill gets thru this.
Well all I can do is have hope and keep praying as I do not know any surgeons who have been appointed God lately. I had a pretty bad melt down the other day as I felt like the walls were caving in on me. But I am doing Better now. Its just been a very tough road and he has now been in the hospital close to a month. So I know i keep saying this but please keep him in your prayers as we will take what we can get right now. I will update you all in a few days. thanks Jules
