OK! Tagger and I are talking about doing a weekend camp out down in Truro and doing some kayaking probably off Herring Cove Beach among other spots! It would be great to get as many as possible to join in the fun! Curious to see who is interested and what dates might work for everyone? :)

Highland Campground I believe is the designated campground. Will need a tent and necessary equipment sleeping bag, air mattress if desired etc. I have lantern, Coleman stove and lots of cookware! This will be a cheapee weekend...roughing it by the fire.....good time for sure! So far Tagger, Fishchick and myself are in!

I'm interested. I have a lot going on this summer though. 3 trips planned already. When you thinking of going?

I'm down. All stripers now. Blues tend to start to mix in @ or a liitle after the 4th. White needles in the morning, tubes after they head down.

I'd be interested a little kayak fishing (but wouldn't need a campsite). Let me know what date(s) you decide.

There's another campground down the street that wasn't open in the late season I went .. Might be another option .. Let's do some research,, or maybe somebody will give us some info .

There's Adventure Bound (formerly N. Truro Campground) on Highland Rd., North of Highland Campground on Head of the Meadow Rd., and the old "Horton's" which is now also owned by Adventure Bound and is on S.Highland Rd. I don't know if Horton's is open for business yet as the place got really run down when the owner went through a divorce.

I don't know if any allow open fires.
