Is there a way to preserve Aquaseal after it is opened? Over $8 for the tube used it once for a small hole and it's useless now. I hate to buy another tube just to fix a hook snag. What a waste. I was wondering if I vac sealed it and stuck it in the freezer???

Good question - which specific product were you using as they have a few on their site?
I'll need to recheck mine but I thought that I did not hve a problem wit that. Did you put yours in any kind of container?

Put it in the freezer.
You may need to puncture the side of the tube in the future to get to unhardened stuff, but you can do this several times if you reseal each hole.

Ive only had to use mine once. And i have it somewhere in the back of my jeep. Sounds like there is a good chance that it wont work when i actually need it.

I don't know which one it was I tossed it. It was a tube of goop for neoprene (for the stocking foot waders) but you can use it to stick a patch on the waders. This stuff was a gonner, it wasn't coming back. In the future I will seal it in something and try freezing it.
It was thrown in the basket in my rig with all the other crap that doesn't have a home. Thanks guys.

I use loon UV wader repair stuff, I know it lasted a couple of years. Hav'nt checked it this year. Clean the spot on the waders with water dry it in the sun, spread some of the loon uv stuff on and in a few seconds in the sun it's dry.

I patched it from the inside. Wouldn't hurt to put a dab on the outside. It was one of those tears (holes) that sometimes closed itself It never fails that I get holes in my waders at the most inopportune times. I don't have time to send them back (Beans) and wait for a new pair. They will go back at the end of Fall. Brand new waders for next season.
