It's a pretty cool way to try some different beers that you might not normally buy. rphud 07-01-2011, 05:01 PM I find myself developing a fondness for these double IPA's. Usually it means twice the malt which translates into more alcohol, most are 8-9 percent. Given it's an IPA usually a lot of hops to balance it all out. Some will say its because of Double the Malt, others will say its Double the Hops.
