7/4/1991 - USS Arleigh Burke DDG-51 was commisioned.

20 years has flew by, but I'm proud to have been on the commisioning crew.

Here are my favorite pictures of this fine ship.

March 1993 - going alongside USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) to replenish fuel. It was calmest the seas were during a transatlantic crossing and the gas tank was on 'E'

AHHHHH!!!! good ol pitch n roll.Happy Birthday. Ill be out 37 yrs[yikes] on 7-1-11.Rode aboard the Cruiser U.S.S.Columbus CG-12 and the Tin Can U.S.S Henley DD762.Many days strapped into my chair in CIC [USS Henley] behind the bridge with no relief due to green water hitting the hatch.Taking care of buisness in a bucket.AHHH The Good ol Days!!!
