View Full Version : Hobie Pro Angler

BigBo 07-04-2011, 07:07 PM My left knee is pretty well effed up for a while. It's a combination of bad arthritis and the type of work I do. I've had it scoped three times already. Up next is a full replacement. I don't have a date for surgery yet (I'm trying to hold out until winter), but I tried peddling the Hobie on Saturday and it just isn't working for me. :o
When I get repaired, I'll probably get another, but for now I'm putting up the PA for sale.
It's a 2009 Moss Green Hobie Pro Angler. Included with the sale is a paddle, two Hobie Carts (one Wheel-eeze and a Trax2). Humminbird Fishfinder and battery setup. Scotty rod holder and a Hobie gear bag.
It also has brand new Turbo Fins and the old ones for backup.
I also have this sitting on a like new Karavan galvanized trailer that has never been dunked in the water. The PA rides nice on this trailer and makes transporting, launching and loading a breeze.
New retail on the PA is around $2500 without the Humminbird.
The trailer is around $500 new.

I'm asking $1700 for the complete package including the trailer. I'm going to hold firm on that price for now. I don't need to sell it. I can always wrap it up for next year.

That's a pretty sweet deal for someone. :uhuh:

Folks - this rig is a sweet dream. Looks like a pocket battleship on the water in the photos I've seen and real sweet up close.
Rockport24 07-05-2011, 10:51 AM sorry to hear this, but this is a steal! Someone should jump on this.
Raven 07-05-2011, 06:40 PM Bob, in the future you could always add a trolling motor and battery
instead of using your knees for propulsion.

Heal up soon.

Good luck with the knee.
fishbones 07-06-2011, 12:56 PM So Ed, when's your initiation into the Yak Rats? And don't worry, it's not that painful. Well, at least not physically painful.
