Please help me spread the word...the public needs to hear the ASMFC and they need to know we are paying attention.

I just found out about this so direct no advance notice to the contact info below.

Fisheries Management Program, Atlantic States Marine Fisheries

Why can't these things be on the books fir months in advance. With public notice. I literally was on the ASMFC page yesterday in the Striped Bass section and there was zero mention of lectures. Very disappointing.

I also do not understand why they do these lectures during fishing season. You would get many more people there if it were the off-season. Everybody want to be fishing or vacationing instead of going to a lecture. I know the lecture is important, but having it in the middle os the Summer is not productive.
