I pulled out my fishing foul weather gear today to prepare for the monsoons they are predicting for this weekend and came to a sad conclusion.....I need a new coat. My present coat is a Cabela's Gore-Tex Guide series jacket that has serviced me very well for the past four years of hard fishing. No complaints. It is just worn out. The Gore-Tex no longer performs its duties due to the effects of salt water, despite several cleanings with the recommended Gore-Tex detergent. As I have been very satisfied over the years with the quality and dependibility of Cabela's products, and the fact I also have the bibs that go with the jacket, which I have worn about ten times in that period so are practically brand new, I would like to replace it preferably with another Cabela's coat (colors will match) and like many of the features (big usable pockets). I have been utilizing this wonderful thing called the internet to look at not only Cabela's brands, but also other manufacturers. I would prefer to stick with the Gore-Tex type breathable materials so I don't sweat my cajones off walking the beaches. Sooooooooo....My questions are anyone have any information on the Cabela's "stretch" model guide jackets or any other brands that serve well for suf casting and wading? Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Red,
I haven't seen it but Crazy Al has a parka out that I've heard a lot of good things about.
