Does anyone have a preferance because after the new (to me) Victory Headwaters Pale Ale I am leaning heavily in that direction. Golden Monkey was the only disappointment.

I had never had it on draught before and one night as I was running from B to C concourse in the Philly airport I noticed the Jet Rock Cafe had just added all these micros and had it on tap. Only having about 10 min before my next flight I took a seat at the bar... You want a big one? She asked and I accepted assuming it was just a regular 22 ounce tall...She pours a 32 ounce stein for 10 bucks :uhuh: Wasn't easy to get that whole thing down in the time allotted... Not sure if they have those 32 ounce mugs any more, but 10 bucks was a deal. I think that's what the 22's are now. -spence JoeBass 07-18-2011, 02:11 PM I really like Long Trail Brewing here in Vermont. The Dad Fisherman 07-19-2011, 10:48 AM My Hero is Jim Koch.......I do like most of Sam Adams offerings.....but I give him a lot of credit for showing America that you can Mass-Produce a Flavorful beer....and they we didn't have to settle on the watered down pilseners that flood the market. I like Stone Brewery out of San Diego, I have liked a couple of the beers I have had out of Mayflower brewery in Plymouth...although I wasn't impressed with their Summer Rye. But different breweries seem to make 1 or 2 good beers and then not so much on others.....depends on the Beer Style fishbones 07-19-2011, 11:47 AM I have a hard time choosing between Sal Bando and Paul Molitor. Both were great Brewers. PRBuzz 07-19-2011, 12:54 PM I have 2: Jim and Arthur. Last names: Koch Guinness flyvice11787 07-20-2011, 12:04 AM I have to go with Phil Markowski of Southampton Brewery. Steel Rail Pale Ale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:buds: Saltheart 08-02-2011, 04:56 PM Each brewery has a few winners and a few losers in my experience. Rockbottom up in Braintree occasionally had something truly outstanding but then maybe 3 or 4 really disappointing with several in the middle of the road. Clogston29 11-19-2011, 04:20 PM Stone.
