Night Shift 07-19-2011, 04:11 PM The best part is the two fish were caught within 15 minutes of each other. The second fish had to be netted twice. It (the fish) exeeded the nets capacity. It's a good thing you didn't let go of your rod Joe! ProfessorM 07-20-2011, 10:08 AM Joe = expert. Short people rule Rockfish9 07-20-2011, 11:55 AM Joe = expert. Short people rule HMMMM.. last night the expert left a $700 trolling motor in 35' of water north of the Merrimack river...putz! ProfessorM 07-20-2011, 12:45 PM sorry Joe, that sucks. You can't be an expert on everything. Hopefully you are an expert on skin diving and hitting the man overboard button on your gps. Rockfish9 07-20-2011, 01:13 PM sorry Joe, that sucks. You can't be an expert on everything. Hopefully you are an expert on skin diving and hitting the man overboard button on your gps. My sacrafice to King neptune.... I'd gone about 50 yards before we figured out what happended... it was kind of funny.. looking back.. no white motor.. just the extension cord still hooked to the battery ( twist lock connector) hanging over the transom like a severed head where it pulled the wires out of the butt connectors.... I took the spare down from the rafters @ 1:15 this morning... the new one is being delivered on Friday.. I wont skip a beat...that's the first one I ever lost.. i've bent a few shafts.. but never had one leave the boat...I never liked that flimsey mount that came with the motor anyway ... the new one ( Motor guide veri max) will be bolted solid and have a safty cable... seeing I'm getting too sinile to remember to raise the motor before blasting for home...I should have stayed wiring.. we did better with plugs anyway... JohnR 07-20-2011, 02:27 PM One of these days one of those monsters are going to make you fall backwards and in with your trolling motor;) Ryan560 07-20-2011, 04:22 PM Those are some great looking fish Joe!
