View Full Version : How to fight a lemon car UserRemoved1 07-21-2011, 12:01 PM Sour 'lemon' driver returns to dealer; 'I didn't hit a car under $20K' | SeacoastOnline.com (http://www.seacoastonline.com/articles/20110721-NEWS-107210402) Or not :hee: FishermanTim 07-21-2011, 01:09 PM "The manager said the cars Cross crashed into included a Mercedes and a special edition Mustang. He said the cars have been towed from the lot and the business is insured for the loss." "Yeah, he hit 4 mercedes, 2 jaguars, 3 lexus and a porsche! Where are they? Oh, we already had them towed to our 'repair shop' across town/state." Can you say "insurance fraud"? I feel sorry for the guy, because his anger screwed him out of a sweet lawsuit against the dealership. ALL vehicle sales are covered under the "lemon law" and anyone that refuses to adhere to that law is liable for ALL damages and can be made to pay triple damages if they try to screw the customer over. If he's lucky, maybe the judge will be sympathetic, or maybe he had prior run-ins with this same dealership in the past, and he will find in favor of the customer. Of course that's not how it WILL happen, but if the customer can avoid jail time, and only gets a fine he'll be OK. Hey, wouldn't it be real justice if he is made to pay the dealership and HE makes them wait until hell freezes over for payment? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
