just found out that most of the flights "eligible to pay with miles" are ones with ridiculous layovers and stops. boston to philadelphia.... all had at least 1 stop and a total travel time of at least 4 hours. good thing the first years membership fee is free.

i'm cancelling that and sticking with mastercard world points.
