Took the
day off today to fish with 3 friends on a 21' Mako. 10 fish landed and 3 keepers. The fish were all in the 26" - 36" range. All were caught using LT top water plugs. I landed 6 of the fish caught with 2 keepers. Lots of laughs and only 2 other boats fishing in Dux bay. Awesome morning which I really needed.

Anything happening outside of the bay?
I plan on taking my yak out tomorrow morning offshore from the beach and would like to know if it would be productive to bring a rod and a few tried and true lures?

Beyond that, it'll be a surf and sand family beach party, so I will have limited time for fishing.

sounds like a great day on the water! that's what it's all about.

It's also kind of fun to do the majority of the catching sometimes...:)

Depending on the wind and wave action riding a kayak out front might be a challenge. If it's doable use small white storm shads. I wish I could figure out how to load pics on this site with my iPad!
