There was a oil spill in Buzzards Bay today that has left a 13 mile slick #6 fuel. They say it is under control, but the invrioment issues are next to deal with.

It is no longer leaking. 4 miles off shore. 15,000 gal. Shell fishing is shut down. Darmouth and Westport are getting oil on shore. They have saved some birds and they are at the zoo. It is the same Co. That had a spill here 20 years ago. 12 foot split in the bottom. Was headed to the depo at the east end of the canal.
With the SW wind blowing it will keep putting oil in that area. Wind is going to change to NW tomorrow afternoon, which will help the oil blow more out to see and evaporate
