Cost another $7.50 each way to take my kayak on the Block Island ferry as long as I don't exceed 7' ... Think I'd have to take my yakima racks off and hulley rollers to make it .

The Dad Fisherman 08-15-2011, 02:34 PM I'd do it.... nightfighter 08-15-2011, 02:47 PM Take the rack off at the ferry parking lot. Tie the yak on the roof for the ferry ride only. Use Bones for padding. Put the rack back on when on island. Same for ride home. Or throw it in the back of Bob's truck.... Rockport24 08-15-2011, 04:33 PM If the weather forecast is favorable, do it. Some guys on the kayak site have headed out there and drifted eels during the day and just killed em Nebe 08-15-2011, 04:40 PM Do it. :) Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Tagger 08-15-2011, 08:33 PM I'll check my measures and the weather ..
