I am disappointed with the finish coat on my plugs. I have tried glaze coat and enviortex lite. Is there such a thing as a heaver enviortex I have used the lite. I use a rotissery when I put the finish on but I am not satisfied with the result. Is there any trick I should know about, heating with hair drier thinning with acetone or laquer thinner etc? I go to plug fest and am blown away by the finish on plugs by the professor numskull etc or look at an after hours (Don G. if you see this get well soon) and want that thick hard finish. Not trying to steal inside info but wouldnt mind if you give me some tips. thanks charlie Gregory

Charlie a few coats of kbs is bulletproof. If you want to stick with 2 part go with rod epoxy. Aftcote works well as does many others. There is an epoxy on the market designed for lures it's Diamond epoxy or something like that. Never tried it but it supposedly works well.

Charlie another one I've looked at this year is #^&#^&#^&#^& Nite Liquid Plastic Top Coat. I think it is his number S83 or something like that. I bought a quart to try with rapid prototyping and it worked pretty well. That is a dip..moisture cured. Needs rotation if possible.
