You can do what I did and just drill a hole in the side of the boat and install a rodholder sideways

I thought that is what you did for your down riggers, holes in bottom of the boat?:rotf2:

What's the OD on those? the shaft into the rod holders? I have several that are too small for my current boats road holders/

The OD on the shaft that fits in rod holder is 1 1/2 inches. The ID of the shaft that rod goes into is 1 3/8's. Thanks

I have some rod riggers, the kind that swing up from horizontal to vertical, and lock into vertical position. I have 6 of them that I would part with.
