I am preparing for a surgery on my neck and back, i need to have 3 disks removed from my neck and 1 from my back, they are going to put some plastic inserts in place of the disks.( yes i asked for a lift kit ). i was wondering if anyone has had this kind of surgery done? and what they experience for recovery and what they experience in the months to come?

I had 2 discs removed 10 years ago and replaced with cadaver bone and a titanium plate. first 6 months were tough but no problems since then. lost a little range of motion but I can live with it. Well worth the surgery.Best of luck!!
