The Wedding.. can't believe Tommy stayed sober, but is was whacky enough anyways...

the fire... anybody else see and eerie "Worcester 6" tribute there?

the teaser at the end.. saw (I think) at least two caskets in the church..

I remeber Denis saying several years ago, that when the series ended, they would all die in a fire... I guess we shall see...

but 6 firefighters, in an abandoned wharehouse, trapped up high, and out of air.. and Denis' cousin, and best freind in Worcester died in that fire.. all I could think of ...well...anybody else?

I def. got the sense that Lou, knew he was a goner.....

First thing that came to mind watching it was the Worcester fire. That building was a big brick oven.

I agree

I had a feeling the show would end like that

they did change it a bit with having the 2 kids still in there to make it more dramatic.

Denis Leary is something else
they let it all hang out

 Was that the final episode? It was a weird ending then. I thought there was more to come.

Yep, kind of a weak ending for such a good show.

mixed feelings on the ending.. the start, I just knew had to be a dream...as Lou as the only survivor was def. not a possibility, the way they ended the prior week... the cake mix, was classic, as was the contents of the letter from Lou.. too many loose ends to tie up neatly, I guess... ended with Tommy addressing the incoming probies...just as the series began... and was nice to see Lou's ghost visit Tommy...actually Tommy with any ghost, without having to drink a half bottle of Jameson's...was quite a statement... that and what he said at the conclusion of his probie speech...maybe he finally beat the bottle??

I, for one , will miss the show, but agree, it had run it's course.
