I made a bunch of full size and Junior Cowboys in Spanish cedar over the past week and just rigged them today. I like the natural full sized Cowboy and all the Juniors. Will be using them this fall from the beach and my yak.

What do they way??
I still do not have a digital scale... the jrs have one big 12 gram slug and the srs have (2) 9 gram slugs. Bobby @ BM uses pine for his Cowboys and the Spanish Cedar is most likely slightly lighter... the dims are the same and the lip is close but not exact... Most cowboys used by seasoned fisherman are rigged with heavier 6X hooks... i did not have any in my shop so I will try them with 4X VMcs
I would guess the srs are ~4oz and the jrs are 3.25ish

I finally went out and bought a quality digital cooking scale- the Oxo scale that allows one to tare a full sized bowl so we can get double duty in the kitchen making pies and baking bread
the Seniors are 4 1/8 oz and the juniors are 3 1/8 all fully rigged with 3/0 belly hooks and dressed 6/0 tail hooks (4x not 6x VMCs) Hopefully I will not regret going with 4x this fall...

Added a white cedar Cowboy junior to the corral this week... this chunk of cedar was outside for a few years before I repurposed it to pluggage.
Has a 4/0 belly and a 6/0 dressed siwash tailhook... 3.25 oz
