Let me know if your interested. piemma 09-21-2011, 09:01 AM I would buy an upscaled conventional. Padawan 09-21-2011, 09:18 AM I am using this for bass Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device piemma 09-21-2011, 09:32 AM I am using this for bass Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device OK, sorry Padawan. I thought you were talking Tuna. If you are talking on your boat, the VS is overkill. I sold all of mine when I bought my boat. They are great reels for the surf but on the boat you really don't need a sealed, waterproof reel. I use all Penn SS series for spinners on the boat and they have served me well. JohnnySaxatilis 09-21-2011, 09:59 AM if your lookin for a van staal for the boat, what about the new 400$ range one with the bail? btw does anyone have any experience with those? JohnR 09-21-2011, 10:00 AM Some of us are trying to get the Padawan into a Bass/Surf real he can also use for Tuna from a boat - hence moving him from buying 27 different reels to getting him to one to cover several functions - pretty PLEASE with bunker on top - don't give him any other ideas :tooth: And Padawan - if you can spend a couple extra bucks and buy one at a local shop (or forum sponsor :hee: ) it helps the locals ;) Padawan 09-21-2011, 10:26 AM I dont have a problem supporting the local forum sponsors, but I would like to get it at the right price!!! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
