View Full Version : Team S-B - Fall Surf Club Challenge to support the MS Society.
JohnR 09-21-2011, 09:28 AM What: this is the annual friendly tourney between clubs in CT/MA/RI where the proceeds from registration (I'll pay Team S-B) and proceeds from the awards raffle all go to support the M/S Society. This tourney has gone on for 18 years now.
When: Fri October 14th at 6pm until Sunday October 16th at 8 am with the awards breakfast at 9pm
How: Teams heaviest 3 bass and 3 bluefish. 32" minimum on Bass.
Where: Nappatree point to Narrow River.

rphud 10-12-2011, 10:56 AM I think the weather report is getting worse each day. like that is a big surprise. Only event as predictable for bad weather was the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.
Im out due to a knee injury. I'm sure my contributions will be greatly missed...
Going to be a fun weekend! I'll be fishing for CSA but hope to see some of the S-B crew around.
hardcore from shore 10-12-2011, 11:59 AM Fishing for MSBA. Fished derby last weekend, tri state next weekend. Looks like I am doing my Fall Run. Will have my s-b.com sticker on my bait bucket the ford fiesta that replaced my fishmoble Taurus. Will be watching for stickers.

the weather is NOT condusive for stupid human tricks. know where your fishing and PLEASE watch the wave pattens for a good five min. before ventureing out on that rock.

Tough weekend. Fished many hours and many spots for a lone 30 inch fish...
hardcore from shore 10-16-2011, 07:27 AM Fished hard. Results do not reflect effort. I 12.4 pound bass for MSBA, and a few short bass as well. Even bait went into hiding last night and I was out till 2 and out again at 5.
