Joe 10-10-2011, 08:53 AM Quincy - most likely a drunk and disorderly customer or owner that had to be tased. luv2flyfish 10-10-2011, 09:32 AM mabe a brake in? BigFish 10-10-2011, 09:52 AM Maybe an arrest because it is a crime to combine a jewelery store and bobble shop with a bait and tackle shop.:rotf2: quick decision 10-10-2011, 10:42 AM Maybe an arrest because it is a crime to combine a jewelery store and bobble shop with a bait and tackle shop.:rotf2: thats funny UserRemoved 10-10-2011, 11:29 AM Why belittle the guy for trying to make a living Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Piscator 10-10-2011, 11:47 AM Why belittle the guy for trying to make a living Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device You have to admit, it is a little strange.......................... BigFish 10-10-2011, 11:52 AM Oooppps.....sorry. The "Belittling Police" are on the prowl.:rotf2: Piscator 10-10-2011, 11:52 AM Quincy Fore River Was it with lights on and stuff? I think that place does sponsor and donate bait a lot of the Quincy Police events like "Taking Disabled Vets Fishing". If lights weren't on, maybe they were picking stuff up? Raider Ronnie 10-10-2011, 03:30 PM I was able to get out and take a ride to my marina which is up the street from Ricks place. Went around the rotary and it looked like he was open for business and nothing happened, though I did not go inside. Haven't been the place much since he started selling the other stuff. Got to agree with some other comments, Pretty strange combination selling smelly bait, tackle, and jewelery from Thailand :screwy: soups 10-10-2011, 04:33 PM Just a couple of people outside the shop, arguing.. Nothing to do with the shop FishermanTim 10-11-2011, 01:26 PM Maybe the "crispy-cremes" were running up river? 2na 10-12-2011, 08:47 AM the word is bauble - a bobble is something you float an earthworm under Rick's wife is Thai and he goes there for the winter and brings stuff back. As you may be aware, it is tough making a living in the tackle store biz in the off season - that's why Ron at Sportsmen's Den has expanded into darts, skate sharpening and firearms. Rick pulls his tackle store sign down wintertime and puts up the "Thai bobbles" sign up until spring. Good to hear he had nothing to do with the police enforcement action vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
