Need some help- Have to be out on the cape this weekend, and will have some time to fish the night (beaches)or early morning ( Canal). Have been to both briefly this past spring. Anything worth while at the beaches like Head of the Meadow, Herring Cove, or is the canal the best bet for fish. Thanks.

Barren wasteland I spent 3 nights fishing my tail off in areas that have been Very productive for me in years past. Including last year. There are a ton of sand eels around but very few fish on them. I fished the sand trail and beyond. I even took a major hike to a spot that always produces with a certain wind condition not even a bump. Check in at Nelson's maybe fish have moved in since Monday. That is my favorite place on the planet but it has been tough fishing

It's been tough, I was up there last weekend, for one the weather was too nice, seal were bad. If you don't mind some walking you might get lucky. Boats are get fish, the wind comes up this weekend you even know. Good luck

Thanks guys....will call nelsons on Friday, but leaning towards the canal, seems an off year for a lot of places. Spent two days on block last weekend with 5 guys, 5 spots, zero fish....

funny thing is that justt spent the last 4 months fishing the Truro to ptown beachs, there weren't many nights that i missed and never saw another soul other than a couple of guys that i fish with. this was of course at night. it wasn't the best year but it certainly wasn't the worse year.if you don't fish you don't know
