I feel violated for reading something so idiotic!!!!! May these people learn about bone density and osteoporosis!!!! The hard way! (oops...was that bitter??) :)

Unfortunately, Jenn--the ones who will learn the hard way are their kids. Most of the peta-philes have fully-formed bones by now.

The ones I love more than Peta were the Anarchist groups in Washington protesting the inaugeration. Some of them were throwing pennies and rocks at GWB's limo. Now, I'm not a fan of this guy but what's done is done. GWB's limo is 7 inches thick of bullet proofing, what the heck is a stone going to do? Jesus.

Just more examples of freedom of speach gone wrong.
Whatever happened to the days of peaceful protests?

I wonder if they really believe that people would stop giving their kids milk or caving into any other PETA pursuits based on these campaigns. I hope they don't sleep at night because of all the dairy products they consumed while growing up (physicaly anyway).

'Course, these are the same yahoos that applaud when an explosion hurts or maims a person that doesn't agree with their views.

Morons!!

I also wonder if they have had their vaccines or if their kids have had their vaccines. All of our medicines have come from some sort of animal research. Insulin came from research on dogs!

You know, I don't mind Peta all that much as long as they keep it peaceful. Nothing wrong with showing your distaste for something by a protest. When you start getting up in people's face yelling "murderer!" or throwing Red Paint on your jacket, that's when it gets out of line and it becomes a mess and your message is lost.

Hey while we are on the topic, I wonder if those red paint guys ever nail a fake fur jacket....

2 quick questions - What other animal consumes milk as an adult? Could the symptoms of lactose intollerence( ie gas, diareah) indicate that dairy products arn't good for us? I do know that an adequate supply of calcium is found in spinach, kale, turnip greens, cabbage, collard, mustard, seaweeds, alfalfa, broccoli, canned fish (especially sardines, clams, oysters, and salmon) with bones, and cooked dried beans and peas. Not as tasty as milk and cookies, but very effective.

Hey Wendy, how are ya??

I understand that many of the benefits of milk are found in other foods (I get my calcium from TUMS :P ). And I have nothing against people that don't share my particular views and do so in a respectable manner but I do have problems with an organization that uses these methods to get attention. They prey on peoples children to get their message out. If some person walks into your childs classroom with an animal suit and scares or guilts your child into doing something perhaps HARMFUL like not drinking milk, then I have a problem with that. This group does not try to spread its message with a reasonable medium, no, they do bonehead and often negative public stunts and feel that everyone else is the problem. Human life has no appreciable value to many of these people.

I think there is a big difference between being an advocate of a cause and dealing with the issues and with people in a responsible manner (whether I agree with it or not is irrelevant) and with groups such as this, that use very rude and nasty tactics to get there point out, damn the consequences... Just MHO

For your information, I was raised on a farm in PA, I had the luxury of drinking fresh whole cow milk any time I wanted. Now as for if it isn't good for you, My great grandmother drank whole milk every day of her life, she was 96 when she died, my other granparents all lived into there late 80's and they also drank milk. I think that society today just doesn't get it. I really don't feel there is anything wrong with milk or vegetables or meat. If they want to bitch about something they should start reading into preservatives, in the olden days they didn't have manufactured preservatives.
Today they are everywhere. Don't get me wrong everyone has a right to there own opinion, but get a life, what do these people do everyday, they say milk isn't good for you. Well do they eat cheese, sour cream, butter, yogurt perhaps!!! I'll bet half of them do, and as someone else previosly said, did they drink milk when they were kids????
This is no different then friends of animals or animal rights activist going into schools and telling kids that they shouldn't hunt or fish, because fish have feelings in there lips and are in pain when they are hooked. Well just how the hell do they know this did they ask the fish!!!!
I grew up hunting and fishing, it was a family thing to do together, and it keeps my family close even to this day, its something that we look forward to doing every year. I really feel that all these rights activist should spend a little more quality time with there kids and families and maybe this world would be a better peaceful place live. Lets see if we get rid of milk, meat, chicken and seafood, we will all be better off because we just may starve to death. Hey JohnR GOT MILK!!!!!!

The car has suffered $1500 damage and goes to the bodyshop on Monday. My wife was slightly PO'd to say the least. This is my third deer hit in the last 10 years. You would think I would know how to finish them off by now. Kind of like when to set the hook...........
