Where did you find them? I just heard today that the main body of fish is west of Jones Inlet.

I don't know where Jones inlet is .

The answer to your question is Where am I from?

Jones inlet is in Nassau county LI, NY. It is about 35 miles or so east of NYC.

Nataro They were what we call horse mackeral 16"and better they were about 2-3 miles out off of Bracies Cove.

Saturday nite and Sunday Gloucester harbor was loaded with herring. I watched a person fish in the Annisquam river behind Nichols candies Saturday morning for about 1/2hour and he didn't catch any stripers.

Guys,
FWIW, I hear the bluefish inveaded the Jones inlet area yesterday and the macks moved further east. I'd guess they would be off shinnecock by now and probably off Montauk tomorrow.

We won't see any Blues here till the middle of June. Usually the schoolies are here by now. Our water temp is about 46 degrees, So something should be happening soon. Looked for herring around the docks the last two nites but came up shot handed. I guess that's why they have tails.
