I just changed over to Verizon from Comcast and I guess I need to change my e mail addy from a comcast.net to a verizon.net email I guess. Should I use another e mail thingy, independent one like G mail or hotmail or some other kind , instead of going with a verizon.net e mail addy so in case i sign back up with comcast again when Verizon goes up in price, which i am sure it will, I won't have to go thru this again. Any recommendations ? My buddy at work said use G mail but I have no idea what that is about and if it is a safe, useful thing to do? Need advise and direction. Thanks Paul

I have several e-mails but forward all to my gmail! That way you only have to check one service and it doesn't matter if verizon or comcast is higher priced.

it's super efficient
easy to use
has great spam filtration
so jump on board Paul

the other "feature it has"

is a blog like Chat where you can just converse
back and forth as long as you like
but it's only for that particular email "Buddy"

just open google select gmail up above
and get started

I have comcast but also use a gmail account. I am so used to comcast but am starting to like the gmail. Like you said Paul you won't have to keep switching email adresses every time you change carriers if you use a neutral account.
