I came across these old pictures of my uncle with some stripers. They are from 1966.

I duck hunt with a guy who's father used to hang around with my uncle. We met on a construction site while he was building a house and I was there to install the stairs. We ended up becoming hunting partners and come to find out his day knows my whole family, hung around with my uncle Larry for 30 years. So these pictures are the two of the after a day on the water. My uncle is the one on the left and in the solo pic. Nice fish althoigh I don't know how big they're still trophy fish.

Yeah, me too. I think George Heavey got all the old pictures when Dave died and he took over the shop. There was an album from Thundermist of pictures at the awards dinner in the 70s with 5 guys with mounted 50s.

David H did have some great photos of the beach catches when Charlie was still around fishing.

To see a small boat loaded with 30 to fifty pound fish from the beaches of race Point was a sight to see. it was a wonder at times that the boat did not overturn it was loaded so much. Pollock and even Cod fish in the spring was a sight to behold from the beaches of Race Point
