These are the 90 deg. box like gaff with a loooong point. I've seen them for years but I have never used one. Have you? and if so what are their advantages beside looking really nasty.

I have the hand gaff as well as a 3'fiberglass model.They stopped making them for a while so they were tough to get. I picked up the 3' on ebay for reasonable dough. The hand gaff was pricey after paying for shipping from Australia.They are sharp and badass...will not bend.Buy them for for no reason other than they are cool.
