This is a very rare occurance. One day every 100 years. So many will never see a date like this in their lifetime.

The only number where this can happen is with all 1's. There can never be an all 2's date or any number higher than 1 since there are only 12 months in a year (22-22-22 is impossible) . So that takes care of all digits above 1. There can never be an all 0 date since the lowest day and month are 01 (00-00-00 is impossible) . So anyway , its the only same digit date that can ever appear using the 2 digit day, 2 digit month , 2 digit year format. Now if you use the 4 digit year format , a 11-11-1111 day can only happen every 10,000 years and it already happened so we will never live to see it again.

Last day was usually 11/30. Then on 12/3 some lady catches a 60 pounder on a pogie head! True story from about 10 years back!
