end of an era for 60 Minutes......I also liked his take on things....
He lived a good life till 92

The highlight of the show. Most of his pieces were basically positive or sentimental. He had a stubborn resistance to most things new; but to his credit, he conveyed his reasoning in a tongue-in-check or comical fashion. You don't live that long, and remain that engaged, if you're not basically a positive person.

I am so sorry to hear this. Very sad indeed. First guy ever to offer up the idea of a tunnel to the vineyard instead of getting on the ferry. Too funny.
