Less than a year after 40 years

Smoked for 26-27yrs been a quitter for 19yrs.

Congrats to all QUITTERS!

How can anyone afford $7-8/pack?

does booze count ??:confused:

When they reached $.50 a pack they became too pricey for me.

2 years smoke-free next month for me after smoking for 27-28 years.

47 years going on 48 Jan,
Though I never smoked 1 in my life :rotf2:

40 + years I smoked....last feb. sat in my chair and enjoyed my last one...looked at the empty pack and said thanks for all the great years..reely enjoyed smoking...got tired of others climbing up my ass about smoking..so I quit...now others blow smoke in my face and I could care less...smoke in the car,parties,work place and it doesn't bother me...what pisses me off I feel no different and food still tastes the same....think I was fed alot of bs from others.

3 days. freaking out, but not giving in this time :musc:

bart sit down and make a list of all triggers that make you want to smoke. Eliminate them for 30 days. After a while you don't think about it anymore.

You've quit when you can not even think about it. Look at it as like alcoholism. It's always going to be around you but you will never ever touch one again. You can't. Hold to it. You can do it.

You will find your clothes smell better, you enjoy foods more, all kinds of real positive things I think alot of guys here will echo.

Man I look at this stuff now as what it is. An addictive drug/habit that has you by the balls. You will be glad you did it.

Ya picked it up because your an addict. It's got to be treated like a drug. You have to tell yourself you will never ever in your life touch one again.

Then hold to it. If you ever want one DON'T. The feeling will go away. Someday like me reaching for my pocket still you will laugh and realize how #^&#^&#^&#^&ing addictive that stuff is.
