Very quiet otherwise. Plenty of macs still around.tried to get out sat also which was worse than Friday. Unrelenting wind. Going to try again after thanksgiving Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device MakoMike 11-21-2011, 10:51 AM I made some suggestions to Jon to try and avoid the bite offs. thefishingfreak 11-21-2011, 01:00 PM They are very difficult to hook on wire. they seem very leader shy. if you want to hook one, you need to use stealth tuna tactics but getting them to the boat is all together different. I was arguing the need for tuna bomb/chaff gear to slide down.. MakoMike 11-24-2011, 09:45 AM Jon was asking about mousetraps, and I made some suggestion on how to hide the wire. Not sure if a tuna bomb would get in place in time to prevent a bite off. big jay 11-24-2011, 06:33 PM Single strand won't work well for a trap - the wire will kink if you get the loops small enough to hide in a bait. I regular trap plus a bomb should be fine. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2024, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
