View Full Version : Crab Trap bloocrab 05-07-2003, 07:55 AM ..oh boy, I'm screwed now!!! cooked (http://www.crabhawk.com/) :bc: :conf: :err: fishweewee 05-07-2003, 09:55 AM Had to stop eating blooclaws - doc advised me they were very high in cholesterol! Yer safe, at least from me. :p Gloucester2 05-07-2003, 10:36 AM I liked the disclaimer about it not being a leghold trap. Gotta bow to the PETA freaks I guess . . . . :D Raven 05-08-2003, 08:51 AM fishweewee: there is good cholesterol and bad cholesterol... the good cholesterol helps combat the bad cholesterol. fresh water fish have a high amount of the good cholesterol in them and trout being predominately man raised is a rather uncontaminated source of it. thats why i catch and eat trout so i can eat crabs, lobster and other high colesterol foods in moderation. lethicin helps to redistribute body fat so that it can be burned as fuel. you can buy lethicin at any health food store as a nutitional supplement. to lower blood pressure: drop salt like a hot potato. Steve2d 05-08-2003, 11:06 PM I get the impression by the response to the photo of the Dungeness crab you get the impression it's cooked. Actually, it's fresh as cooked Dungeness turn an orange colr when cooked. This is nearly a 9" crab! Just an example of what people catch in the CrabHawk.
