I'd rather hang out with this Jersey Shore mess:

than spend 5 minutes in that Jersey Shore mess.

I agree, even going to the dentist would be higher on my list.

Does everyone in Joisey fish a van staal? What a cluster, I assume there were no personality clashes ,or casting over others into a blitz?

Rather prep for a colonoscopy than ever sit in that.

Reminds me of the canal after an internet report.

Common sense tells me since no one is hooked up then it might not really be worth watching.......

I will stick to my long swims and lonely nights... Thanks,,,

EXACTLY George!
that is why he now would rather take his chances getting beaned in the head with a golf ball , than getting knocked in the head with someones' pencil popper on a jetty, which did happen years ago. He won't even come up here to fish the canal now.

I can't seem to understand how anyone can even fish like that??? crazy

I heard some tackle shop owners down there are like real business people.
It's a little deceiving. It looks like they used a telephoto lens which compresses the background and foreground together, and it makes the subjects look closer together than they really are.
It's still a massive crowd, but there's more distance between the subjects than it appears, depending on the focal length of the lens.

Now here is the crowd I was fishing with,in an undisclosed area. May not look it but that surf is loaded with 15-25# bass and had been for the last 7 days.

NJ Shore is where I started. I still have a disadvantaged brother down there. NO WAY (so far) has the Canal, even at its worst, come close to the NJS re crowds. Both of these geographies, however, suffer from their open territories and therefore are vulnerable to binocular fishing and telephone fishing.

Someone should have hired, the pig that Snooki is, to chase everyone away.

She gets $18,000 for a 3-hour public appearance. She flies first class, and demands a limo back and forth to the airport.

My God!
You can find a last call bang a skank like that in every rat hole bar from here to the Pacific. Sad commentary on Americanism.

mid season, I want solitude... almost december, I want FISH!!! and will tend to tolerate conditions I normally would shy away from... as is the case with most of us.
