ahh funny guys ahhh soooo :bshake:

Not complaining I'm pointing it out.

Isn't that what's happened? He was just on vacation last week?

Mitt makes a comment about him leaving and suddenly he's staying? I think it's a riot. And they deny it.

If the election wasn't coming up and these guys use it against him he'd be over the pacific right now.

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, Obama is an idiot, but he's not so simple-minded that he doesn't feel the feat from his dismal approval ratings. I'm of th eopinion that with electrronic communication being what it is, the President can usually do his job from anywhere in the world. But his apparent flip-flop here is to make it look like he's showing some visible leadership on this one issue. He has been criticized, justifiably in my opinion, for being totally MIA at times.

"Obama and the Democrats had wanted to pay for a reduction in the so-called payroll tax by imposing a 1.9% surtax on incomes of the richest Americans, those taking home more than $1 million a year. They apparently have dropped that demand and will find the money to finance continued cuts through higher fees charged by the public-private organizations that guarantees home mortgages."

Obama signs executive order to cut waste across federal agencies

2011-11-10

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 -- U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday signed an executive order to cut waste across the federal government, including reducing unnecessary travels and purchase of high-tech devices.

"From the day I took office, I've said we're going to comb the federal budget, line by line, to eliminate as much wasteful spending as possible," Obama said in a White House statement.

"That's why today, I'm signing an executive order that will build on our efforts to cut waste and promote more efficient spending across the government -- we're cutting what we don't need so that we can invest in what we do need," he said.

I guess we're "investing" in what he and Michelle "need"...you think she'd stick around to enjoy her 37 Christmas trees.... "We have 37 Christmas trees here at the White House--37!" Michelle Obama excitedly told a recent group of visitors. "That's a lot, right?

Washington (CNN) -- The Senate on Saturday voted to extend the payroll tax cut by two months, after both sides were unable to reach a comprehensive agreement to extend the payroll tax cut and unemployment benefits for a full year.

The deal, passed in a 89-10 vote, includes a provision to speed up a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline, giving the Obama administration 60 days to make a call on the project.

Jim Jones bucks Obama on Keystone XL pipeline
By Josh Rogin Friday, December 16, 2011 -

Former National Security Advisor Jim Jones called today for quick action on the Keystone XL pipeline construction, directly opposing the White House he worked for only a few months ago.

Jones, who rarely speaks in public and almost never contradicts his former boss President Barack Obama, lashed out against the administration in a press call and warned of grave consequences to U.S. national security if the project to build the pipeline doesn't move forward immediately.

"Any effort to try to tie Keystone to the payroll tax cut I will reject. So everybody should be on notice," President Obama said on Dec. 7 during a press briefing with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

The Bush family did the same thing, stuffed the Whitehouse with Christmas trees so the public could tour. The main tree this year is covered in military awards in a tribute to the sacrifice of our troops.

right, that's why Obama decided to delay a decision till after the 2012 election... a month ago...because he knew that could get him concessions in negotiations a month in the future ...and who needs those jobs anyway?

you have to pay attention with this lying sack...

I don't think Obama is "getting" a payroll tax holiday extension, I don't think anyone is really opposed to it, the argurment is how to "pay for it"....higher taxes or budget cuts...since the problem that we face is too much government spending ...the answer is obvious..if the Republicans hadn't included the pipeline in the deal, he's be waiting till after the election 2013 to make the decision...

and

A senior administration official noted that though the president has said he would reject any attempt to "mandate" construction of the pipeline before it receives further review, the Keystone provision Senate leaders have agreed to speeds up the approval process -- giving the administration 60 days to make a decision -- but does not mandate construction.

When asked about the apparent contradiction by the president over the pipeline provision, another senior administration official said the president's top priority is making sure taxes don't go up on January 1.

sounds like he's picking politics over country...
I think the President's top priority is getting off to his vacation:uhuh:
