This wacky weather has it all topsy turvy.. I walked on a local farm pond early last week only to have the wind rain open it up this week... i know a few small ponds up north had marginaly safe ice.. I'll find some the week end of the 8th...I just may have to go to Grafton,Coos or Carol county N.H. to find it...
On another note.. i've been slaming hold over rainbows in the Ipswich river... the discovery was made while testing a small bass-oreno knock of I made for a friend... one came up and took a swipe at it.. latter that day i returned armed with salmon eggs and lighter gear.. I limited out three days in a row... I seem to have cleaned out the pool as I could only muster one after work on Tuesday..
