anyone try this yet,the wife is trying to get me to buy one,she is thinking about shutting off the cable and just paying for internet.

its a grand idea because your paying to be force fed commercials instead of seeing quality entertainment
(Movies) and the news you can get off Msnbc or cnn. I got my first bill from charter and it was $278 and i almost had a coronary.
i called them up and tore them a new one and they said your next bill will be
$125.00 from then on... and if not there will be hell to PAY.
They gave me cinemax and hbo free for the sign up bonus but were charging
me for it on the bill. It's all BAIT and SWITCH

I have basic-basic cable $8.98 and Roku. Roku has Netflix 8 bucks and other free movie providers. It also has some pay sports channels. We can use Roku in both our houses - same price.
