I dont own one(I wish!!) but I looked closely at the 2052 in january. Nice Boat, Tons of Boat for the money (about $30,000 W/ optimax 135)From what I hear you stay dry even in the rough stuff. the stringer system is unique in that it is a one piece sealed unit that sounds like it will last forever. Drainage is also unique, crowned deck... some really nice features, Wow I'm talking myself into getting in trouble with the wife again. No seriously, if I had the means its the boat I would buy. Let us know how you make out :D

I will say this about the Trophy boats, my friend had one and I thought it was a good boat for the price he had paid, I think it's the same model you are looking at. However Trophy (Bayliner) has a terrible reputation in the boating industry and the resale value suffers because of this, justified or not. Also the 135hp will be underpowered for this boat, you need to upgrade to the 150hp.

If you really like this boat/motor combination I would suggest looking for something used 1-2 years old, you can probably pick it up for 17-19K

Best of luck...

Hi this is LINKS son, if anything we would want to buy new and we are going to get the 4.3 (190 hp), no outboard for us, My dad like the I/O because they look more like a cars engine. Thanks for all the replys.. Plus we would be getting a great deal under 220 a month!

Yeah, I looked it over in Jan. I also looked at the hydro sport 20', pro line 20', and the striper 20'. I thought the Trophy was the best of the bunch Dollar for dollar. I live in brockton. Maybe we can swing a deal if we buy 2;) ;) ;)

Sounds good to me i will have to run it over with my dad. But @ G&s Marine you get everthing, like dock lines bumpers, life jackets, anchor+line, trailer, Sunbrella bimini full enclosure ,Pro Pack: VHF Radio; 48 qt cooler; Coaming pads; Bow cushion; Trim tabs; Starboard wiper; Raw water washdown; Bow cushion & cooler seat.... god i can go on and on. The guy went down to $214 a month with $6000 down at 5.99% it's weird with more than 6k down, the monthly payment goes up. Well anyways me and my dad might be going down there this weekend just to take another look at it.
