Just got back from taking my wife to lunch.
They sat us at a table next to 6 or 7 old guys in thier 80's,
thank God they were having desert, as all they talked about was their health,
latest surgeries, prostates, comparin notes as to how many times they
had to get up at night to take a whizz, etc.
Finally this guy says, "Ya know with modern medicine we could live anothe20 to 50 years."
His friend says, "Give me 20, how many more John Wayne reruns can I watch. "
LOL, freakin kill me first. :D

Ask Carol, we were laughing so hard and she said imagine what
it must be like to live in one of those retirement communities. :spin:
I think I'd, God forbid, rather be pushed out to sea on a iceberg. :hihi:

This getting old stuff stinks, but if you sorround yourself with
friends of different ages, keep interested in different things,
take a day at a time and do stuff for others it's pretty good.
Not saying I do it all the time.

getting old is no fun. We just visited my wife's 105 year old grandmother this past weekend and it was so sad to see all the elderly people at the home. I couldn't wait top get out of there . SO depressing.
