How many you want?
I got 6's 10's & 14's now.
Waiting for two more molds to show up from england for 12-16-20's maybe in a few weeks. I'll have a factory set up.

Save your $ for golf clubs.
No cod left, the draggers took them all thanks to catch shares.

Although we will be lucky to have a cod fishery, I still plan on banging out a few trips a year and would be interested in a few. They vlook like the classic Angerman/Lav style?

Give me a few weeks I'll have plenty. Different styles also
And pay no mind to Ronnie they can't take them all.

It looks like your lead needs to be a little hotter Mike

Yes I know
these I was just messing around with the new molds and melting striat in the ladle then pouring into the mold.
Too lazy to melt a big batch until my other moulds get here and I can use the big pot.

20-25 80+ft draggers a day, lots of them over 100ft dragging mid bank to north corner taking 25-50,000 lbs a day october & november , thanks to catch shares the damage is done

October and november... where are they now? Sitting at port. They caught their share. Consider this... they could do what they did and pound the fish hard for a month or two and catch their share and take a long break, or go out all the time and target varied species and throw back everything they cant sell.. I think catch shares is smart fishing.

I think the main issue is that these boats usually fish George's a hundred miles away but somehow were allowed, thru catch shares, to work the bank.

Smart fishing ?
So you are saying privatization and consolidation of this fishery is a good thing ?
Some of my commercial friends have told me lots of these draggers are from Maine, New Hampshire and and as far south as NY because they wiped out the fishery in their areas and our small areas holding fish can't sustain the damage they have been able to do.
All the recs & charter boats yearly catch total added up together don't add up what these boats can take in a day.

And when they are done are free to go back out to drag Georges.

Sorry for the hijack.
What ever jig you decide on just make sure you get a good supply of Allan's (Gotstryper) 7 inch rubber.
Cod love both the glow & the pink :uhuh:
