I just purchased a 17ft aluminum and want a combo unit to put on it! Looking at Lowrance HDS 5 gen2. Any help would be great.

congrats on the boat - those are nice units. i've got a garmin 546, it was a tossup between those 2. i'm happy w/ it but wish i had a bigger screen
